These Terms govern your access to and use of Aether Sync (“the Service”) operated by the Aether Sync team. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Account
You authenticate via Discord OAuth. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
2. Subscription & Billing
Paid tiers (Pro, Guild, Elite) and legion add-ons are billed in advance through Paddle (our merchant of record). Charges recur on the same date each billing period until you cancel through the Paddle billing portal accessible in Settings → Billing.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.
- Prices are listed in USD; local taxes are added where applicable.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Upload content that violates third-party rights or applicable law.
- Use the Service to abuse, harass, or impersonate other users.
4. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the rosters, characters, and team configurations you create. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and process this content as necessary to operate the Service.
5. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or temporarily disable features without notice when required.
6. Termination
You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or to comply with legal obligations. On termination we may retain your data for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
